You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. You will learn about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.
After your online study & exam, you stop by the shop and learn the practical (nuts and bolts) portion of the class. You then qualify for the Nitrox certification card.
Also, you and your instructor can integrate your Nitrox course into your Scuba Diver & ADV O/W scuba course!

Once you purchase your NITROX class we will e-mail you a code to begin study online. Then complete the study items and pick a week day to review the nuts and bolts of the nitrox class here with us at the shop! Usually takes about 45 minutes after you take the online class.
